More on the Aiden front! We have some official choppers! He sprouted two upper front teeth to match the two bottom ones! We got 3 more peeking out on the top, they are swollen and sore and about ready to cut through. The toothless smile that has sooo charmed us all is almost gone.. Kinda sad to say good bye to that handsome little face. He has a new Big boy look going on. All teeth, drool and a few cuts on his face from his misadventures.. Our little boy is growing up!

Nicole Kathleen Nason will turn 11 years old this week. Even after all these years I remember so many details of Nicole being born.. Cousin Shannon had stayed with us for 2 days prior to Nicole's arrival. The night before she was born we had labor for 2 whole hours, then nothing.. Poor Shannon went to a Christmas party and promised to be back in the morning.. We went into labor that night.. Apparently the whole contraction thing was irritating little Coley, because her heart rate dropped very low and we had an emergency C-Section. Nicole refused to breathe on her own when first born, so was rushed to NICU where she spent the night in an oxygen tent.. The next morning we got to say our first Hello! Squishy little thing she was.. Even now I remember how I was kinda freaked out when we left the hospital and they expected us to take this baby with us.. Reality however came a few hours later in the form of a screeching infant! Took us a while, but we figured each other out.. Well, actually we are kinda still working on it.. Remember When.. Nicole’s preschool teacher’s name was Stephanie.. Nicole called her STEP-ON-ME The time she told our family Dr. that her favorite game was BEAT THE CHILD..(it was a game were you try to catch her and if you did you got to tickle her) She always mispronounced her friend Dakota’s name as DAKA.. Nicole used to ride on Dan’s shoulders and drool all over his head. The only girl child in our family for over 8 years.. Always a flower girl, never a bridesmaid. To this day Nicole hates to be in the bathroom by herself. When Potty Training, I don’t think we left the bathroom for a month. Her innocently asking me who was this O’flamma Sim Baddin? (Osama bin Laden) Told me that her first grade teacher treated her like a child.. (the nerve!) Dan making her drop and give him push-ups if she didn’t listen.. She had some good muscles for a first grader.. Openly sobbing because she realized that all her cousins were boys and she noticed that she wasn't.. Her Friend Urrchie.. Who she talked about for 2 weeks before we realized that her "best friend" was the tire iron in the back seat next to her car seat.. There's about a billion more that just crack me up.. Happy Thanksgiving.. We had a huge feast @ Granny & Papa's. There was soo much food, we all ate ourselves into the next size up in pants.. Nana and Sherri came over after dinner for desert. We got the first snowfall of the season. On Thanksgiving morning. Dan and Emily went outside all bundled up to go sledding. She loved it. All she wants to do is eat the snow and will lick it off her shoes if you let her.kinda gross.. Aiden felt snow for the first time, Yeah! Funny, but I forget that he wasn't with us last year. Nicole pointed out that it's his first snow, good thing we keep her around. Emily watched the Thanksgiving Parade for the first time. Dan forced Nicole and Emily to watch the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Special, accompanied with stories of his childhood and how every year as a little boy he would watch the Charlie Brown Special. This was before VCR,DVD and TiVo.. Aiden had a huge week: Loves Gerber puffs and now eats them on his own. First couple of times we tried them it didn't go well. He wasn't grasping the idea that he was supposed to swallow, he just drooled them back out. Learned how to pull himself up to standing position. Watch out! If you stand in one spot too long he'll grab your leg and yank himself up to standing position.. However, you will be stuck in that spot till he get's bored and plops himself back down on his behind. Also, he can almost crawl, he pushes himself on all fours. But doesn't realize he's going backwards. It's really kinda funny; he looks up at you with those huge blue eyes wondering how he got halfway across the room..

Aiden had his 6 month appointment this week. He is 20.8 pounds and 28.5 inches. He got all his immunizations including the second dose of the flu shot. We saw a different Dr. Then normal; he didn't like her at all. The bottom lip came out and he was crying with real tears and everything.. Must be the stranger danger phase kicking in. Emily got her flu shot and weirded me out by not making a sound.. She didn't cry or yell, just gave the nurse a dirty look and went back to playing.
