Free tickets to the minor league baseball team. All 6 of us. It was a smidge hot @ 89 degrees.. But that was all the excuse needed for lots of ice cream. Dairy farmers were giving away chocolat milk as you left the stadium, After getting 2 large chocolate milks Aiden declared this "the best night ever!"

Black Flies & Eyes

Both of my little chicklits got bitten by black flies right next to their eyes. Little swollen eyeballs, so sad. They would never make it in the ultimate fighter ring.

June 5th: Already falling behind!

I had grand plans!

Starting June 1st I was going to be exercising everyday, a healthy diet, and finally get caught up here.

I have already fallen behind. Slacking here & not really any exercising.

BUT for the most part we are staying on track for the healthy living. Dan and I have made a commitment to take off some of this vacation weight and if we survive the weekend BBQ’s without gorging ourselves, we are doing good. Weekdays are a piece of cake, it’s the weekend parties that we do our splurging.

Above is a picture of Nicole and I that we took when we went to California last month. I need to sit down with all my pictures and type a good long entry about our trip. I’m so proud of our little family. We did great. All that travel and we didn’t lose or  kill anyone! Go TEAM WELDON!

Recently I went thru all my entries here and more than once I thought to myself, THANK GOD I wrote that down. Because I honestly had forgotten a HUGE chunk of our lives.  I don’t write in a diary or keep a private journal, this is all I got. Our family is growing up so quickly and I’m getting old so I must remember to document it for us. So we can remember, smile and LAUGH at ourselves.

-We are back on the wagon, dan and I have been LAX with healthy..

-California was wonderful!

-I am back to working outside the home!

- Happy Anniversary! 9 freaking years!!
