Happy Birthday Coley.. 12 Years. Wow.. Scary how fast those years went by. When you were about Emily and Aiden's age I remember thinking that you would never learn to dress yourself, or put your shoes on the right feet. It would stress me out to think that you would be 12 years old and not know how to get dressed or do things on your own. Well, I can rest at ease knowing that you have MASTERED the art of clothing.. It appears that at this stage of your life clothing has become VERY important. I am no longer going to stress about that particular issue.. This year went by so fast, but here are some high points for you to remember. Summer Camp for 2 Weeks with out any problems. Changed your last Emily diaper. Thank God! Started the 6th Grade.. Made the Cross Country Team, we were so proud of you. Made the Cheerleading Team, I hope you always remember how excited you were about that, it made us so happy for you! Yesterday marked the end of your 2 week Birthday Extravaganza.. Friends party at the mall, Danielle took you and 4 of your friends to Bertucci's.. Casey stocked the house with all the good snacks so after the mall you all had a sleep over. Then this past Saturday we had cake and pizza and Granny and Papa gave you THE GREATEST GIFT OF ALL TIME. The Pink Razor Cell Phone.. You're so cool..

Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! For everyone breathlessly waiting for our Christmas Cards.. I apologize. We did the Photo Shoot. Got the picture. Got the cards back and they looked awful, we sent them back, and they actually came out worse. Tried two more times, but no luck, Must have been the lighting. Christmas this year was so much fun. Emily told everyone she came in contact with that "Santa is coming, ya know." Cole had her so hyped about Santa that when we went to visit him at the mall, she kinda froze. She waited until she was a safe distance of 10 - 15 feet from Santa and yelled to him what she would like for Christmas. Aiden had NO problem with Santa, he was all like, Ok.. Sit on his lap, say Cheese and get my candy cane. Sounds good to me.. Everyone got so much great stuff that we are still trying to find a place for everything. Christmas vacation went by for Cole & Emily a bit too fast. We had not planned on letting Emily and Aiden stay up on New Year's Eve, but it worked out that way. Uncle Randy set off the fire works which everyone loved. "Pretty Colors" was the big favorite. Then it was time for the count down.. 2006 went by so fast. Scary to think that my babies aren't really babies anymore and my big kid is almost a TEENAGER.. Sad to see everyone get older, I kinda want to freeze time, but then at the same time I'm having so much fun with these new big kids that it's probably illegal.

Emily is a fruit loop.. Not sure which fruit, but it's definitely part of the loop family. Reasons I might feel this way: She yells from her carseat that I am driving either too fast or it's too BUMPSY (?). Then if I don't promise to do something about it, she starts whispering to Aiden about my behavior till HE starts yelling at me.. Are you kidding me? In the middle of my explanation on why she shouldn't do something, she closes her eyes and shows me the palm of her hand. What? Are you telling me to TALK TO THE HAND? At this age? She will then begin HER explanation on why she SHOULD be able to do it. Then she tells me: "it's ok mommy" in a very condescending tone. She calls my mom G-Mommy. Supposed to be Granny, but, whatever. Emily's new habit is to totally blame her for EVERYTHING. At least 500 times a day I hear,"My G-Mommy lets me do that" According to Emily, her G-mommy lets her: add salt to her food, do the Ketchup herself from the bottle use a butter knife to do the butter do the laundry, adding soap and bleach use a steak knife to cut Play-Doh Now, either Emily's making a few things up or Granny is like WAY more fun than I am. Last but not least, she has begun to translate for Aiden, who by the way she still calls "B". Aiden grunts, Emily yells that "B wants Juice" Aiden grunts, Emily yells that "B wants Daddy " Aiden grunts, Emily yells that "B wants M&M's" So she understands exactly what every grunt means? And why doesn't he ever say "Emily's driving me crazy?"

It's that time of year agian.. At approx. 7:00 AM on Sunday we are all headed to the Big Ole'House of Mouse... According to our obsessive trip planner Danielle, there will be internet access at the house we are staying, so maybe I'll be able to put up some pictures. We are gone for 11 days, so when we get back I'll have so much to tell! See ya all later!
