I do not do well with blood.. And it's been a Blood Bath here at the Weldon Home.. It is a well known fact that I faint at the sight of it. (Nicole, Christmas Day. Think she was about 6 years old, split her chin WIDE open.. 7 Stitches, Night Night Michelle..) Let's just run down the list of Recent Wounds and Punctures: Nicole: She has lost 2 Molars in the last week. Do you know how gross it is to lose a back tooth that has been hanging by a string for a few days? Not to mention the news bulletin every few minutes on what kind of food got caught in it and how it can do a 180 in the socket.. Wanna see? No Thank you, I do not.. Emily: I am not sure how many of you are aware that we own a Cat (I'm not a big fan). Up until now the Cat's only saving grace was that she had never hurt any of my children.. ENTER Emily.. One night a few weeks ago. There was an "INCIDENT": followed by a flurry of Screaming & Scratching.. Emily's head was covered in scratches and bleeding profusely.. (I wasn't home.. Dan, however did feel the need to tell me in great detail how the blood was matting down her hair.. I almost fainted anyway) After the "INCIDENT" Emily was asked a series of questions as to why the Kitty hurt her, it was determined that for reasons known only to Emily, She had bit the cat.. Yep, you heard me, she laid her head down on the cat's belly like she always does, then bit her.. Gotta give the Cat some credit. At least she didn't bite her back.. Aiden.. He is a CRAZY ANIMAL.. He thinks he can run, never mind walk.. He has had more bloody accidents in his 8 little months then both Cole and Emily put together.. He pulls himself up on things that can not support his "considerable" weight.. Then BAM! Down goes the baby, sometimes cradle and all... He fell at Granny's in the toy room, we think the toy he had pulled himself up on let go & he smashed his chin on the block he had in his hand. Both the gums and the gash on his chin bled for quite awhile.. ( *Good Granny Tip* Wrap a freeze pop in cheese cloth and let him go at it to take down the swelling..) Aiden recently got another class in the school of "Hard Knocks", when he noticed that Emily had the rocking chair going about 80 Miles an hour. Yep, you guessed.. He was a man with a mission, he knew he could stop that chair. So he did. With his face. There was Blood Everywhere.. He caught the seat of the rocking chair full force in the mouth. Tore open and bruised his gums.. Picture little baby Boy in a cute yellow jumpsuit.. with the front covered in blood.. It's enough to make anyone faint.

I pasted pictures of my Cute Cousins and Cousin Babies on the Home Page.. It's a New year with new Diet Resolutions! Someday I'll be back to my PRE-Baby figure!

For Christmas this year, Casey and I gave Danielle a weekend away to Montreal. We were booked from Thursday to Sunday at the Hilton Bonaventure. It's about 5 hours from New Hampshire to Montreal. About 3 Days prior to our trip Casey began planning what movies she was going to watch from the back seat.. I was to be the Co-Pilot and Danielle the DRIVER. My job as Co-pilot was solely to fetch any item the DRIVER deemed important at any given time. The co-pilot is also in charge of the DIRECTIONS. It may sound important, but it really wasn't. The DRIVER (who could recite the DIRECTIONS to you Forward and Backward) amuses herself by screeching at the Co-pilot every 30 minutes "What exit are we looking for..??? " I will not embarrass or incriminate my sister by launching into a huge paragraph about the parking garage located at the Hilton Bonaventure.. But for anyone who is interested, the actual height of a 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe is 6.16 feet. The actual height of the parking garage at the Hilton Bonaventure is about 2 inches smaller than that. Friday we had a HUGE DAY: It was 50 beautiful degrees outside.. We used the Montreal Metro (subway) and Casey met her first homeless man looking for money. We had breakfast at Eggspectations.. the food was unbelievable.. and had dinner at an Italian restaurant where they grill your veggies in a mixture of Butter and Honey.. We gambled at the Montreal Casino: Casey was the Big Winner of us all because she broke even. We visited the Biodome, it was like an indoor zoo/museum. The Incectasirnum (?) @ the Biodome.. (kinda creepy) and the Notre Dame Basilica. Friday night the one English weather station there was reported a huge storm with tornado like winds would be occurring on Saturday afternoon.. (we were suppose to leave on Sunday Morning.. ) So we packed it in a day early and left on Saturday morning. We hope to go back in the spring when the weather is nice, and I have my movies all picked out, because Casey's going to be the Co-pilot.

What a whirlwind.. In one month have done Birthday,Christmas, Chanukah and New Year! First, we want to send out a huge Thank You to our families for the mountains of gifts and $$ we received.. Our Children are lucky to have so many people that love them and want to see them happy. We had the Morgan family over on Christmas Eve with Hot Chocolate and Similac for everyone.. Nicole and Aiden got into their new Christmas Eve PJ's. In an effort to get the best Christmas Eve picture I had purchased Nicole a "big kid sleeper" thinking that maybe her and Emily would match.. Nicole ABSOLUTELY refused to put them on her body. She referenced the movie "Christmas Story" and the scene where he is forced to put on the Pink Bunny Outfit.. It wasn't that bad.. Christmas morning WE had to wake the kids. Nicole tried her best to get Emily all excited, but 6:30 AM is too early for her Royal Crankiness.. After a while she humored us and ripped open a few boxes.. But it was not the excited heartfelt moment you see in the movies. Maybe next year. Aiden was pretty mellow for his first Christmas. He crawled around for a little bit, ate some wrapping paper and then fell back asleep. Nicole is loving her post Christmas room. Auntie Spanky spoiled her with a new TV/DVD player, she got her new DREAMLIFE game to play on the TV. Also she got to spend her Christmas vacation teaching Emily the Alphabet. (Yeah, cheap tutoring!) Emily got a favorite new video.. Baby Signing Times.. My plan is to have the members of our family that are not familiar with sign language watch this video with Emily so they will know what she is saying..

Aiden is a very busy guy! He has learned to pull himself up on stationary objects. The only problem is that he has not mastered the ability to distinguish exactly what is stationary and what has maybe just paused for a moment, like the Cat, my leg, Emily.. He is a tough little man with a dare devil streak! As soon as he learned to pull himself up, he decided to see what would happen if he let go.. So he did. Let me tell you. Tigger's may bounce, but Aiden does not. The telltale sound of his little coconut smacking off the ground is a sound that you could distinguish through an a full orchestra..
