That's what Santa brought her, lots of clothes. *her pants are 3 inches too long for me, so I can't even "borrow" any. If you have a min. I put up a video of our CHRISTMAS EXTRAVAGANZA.. Dan and I didn't do gifts for each other, but with the help (Christmas $) of our loving families we bought the kitchen some UPGRADED appliances. I heart my new dishwasher, stove and microwave. They were not born before me and therefore when I ask them to please perform, they do. Our old appliances would say "WHEN I FEEL LIKE IT, or I'M OLDER THAN YOU SO LEAVE ME ALONE. But my loving husband has been working some crazy hours, thus leaving me all alone with my (loud) active children. Actually, Nicole spends every moment at either school or Cheerleading, so I don't even have her help.. It's the under 5 crowd that's killing me. I know poor ME! 2007 Disney Highlights: Per usual, Tourgide Danielle managed to plan our entire trip down to every last detail. We had groceries delivered to the house as we got off the plane! THANK GOD! .. Aiden + Hungry + sick of the plane = CRANKY. We were lucky enough to dodge that bullet. All the Chesley Babies are growing up, Kurtis has moved up the ranks to OLDEST TEENAGER. Emily has decided that Kurt will be her PRINCE and she will marry him when she grows up. And let me tell ya, Emily does not take marriage lightly. For at least the last 6 months Aiden was her prince and she was going to marry him, and there was no talking her out of it. However, it appears that Aiden has been replaced by Kurtis. Her exact reason " Aiden drools too much." She has a point. He does. Let it be recorded in stone (or on the internet, same thing) that for the first time Mister Christopher Ford shed all apprehension and went of EVERY ROLLER COASTER there was. He was very brave. Emily is obsessed with princesses, but when the time came to meet them, she froze. These are the princess whose faces are on her bed, pillows, toothbrush, plate, cup and pj's. It might freak a person out to see them come to life. She eventually warmed up to everyone. She had no choice, she had to protect the Princesses from her BROTHER. Belle from Beauty and the Beast mentioned that she was going to the Ball with the Beast later that evening. Never under any circumstances say the word BALL around Aiden. He went crazy. Jumping and crouching hitting an imaginary ball and yelling at Belle in his man voice. "Ball? I play Ball. I play baseball. Soccer Ball. I love football. " Emily was so embarrassed she hid under her shirt. Poor girl. This is only the beginning. Left Florida and it was a balmy 75ish degrees and landed in Manchester, NH to the first snow of the season. The kids were so happy to see Yellow House with snow. Thanksgiving was filling and shopping has been an adventure. Next up Nicole's Birthday and then Christmas! How could I be busy?

-

Fri, Nov 9, 2007 8:48 PM
Guess what time of year it is? Time to visit the House of Mouse. All 12 of us leave tomorrow at 5:00pm. I'm not even scared this time. Well, maybe just a little. Aiden is coming with us. He scares me sometimes. My darling children have decided to bring the streptococcus bacteria with us.. Strep Throat. We are serving Amoxicillin on tap. Can't you just FEEL the FUN? According TOURGUIDE DANIELLE we should have great weather and avoid most of the crowds. We have internet access, hopefully I get to put up some pictures. We won't get home till almost Thanksgiving, so if I'm late.. Wow.. We don't have any babies anymore. Just Big Kids. We are mourning the end of the BABY YEARS over here so this may be a little long. We learned few things by watching those movies: At 2 years old Emily spoke what appears to be Chinese. Did you know that? She kisses Aiden on the top of his head only , (doesn't want any drool). She used sign language all the time. She imitates every movement Nicole makes. Even singing. Ahem.. Aiden was a daredevil at age 8 months, getting himself stuck under the kitchen chairs. Also it appears that from 5 months to the present he has either a bruise or cut on his face. Nicole @ age 10 had unbelievable patience trying to teach 2 year old Emily a dance routine. So sad, it's like the end of an era.. ANYWAY.. back to the present.. Aiden is crazy. He rode his bike down the stairs on purpose. Scared Dan to DEATH. He started to jump out of his crib, so Dan converted it to the toddler bed. Emily "teached him" how to jump out. Wasn't that nice of her. Freaks me out with his athletic ability. He can manage a soccer ball, shoot a basket, balance on a skateboard and hit a ball with a bat. Kinda fun/scary to watch him. FUN: because he's so proud of himself tells himself "good job" or "good try", SCARY: because there is an 80% chance that you as an observer will get hit with either the ball or the bat. Aiden TALKS ALL THE TIME. Honestly, it's enough to make your ears bleed.. But an informal speech test showed him in the 41% for his age group. At this age Emily scored is the 7% for her age group. I was understandably "off the freaking wall happy" with his score. So talk away baby boy, I don't even care if my ears bleed. Emily likes her new pre-school, so much, that when I picked her up she growled " I told you not to come back". I'll try and not take that stab through the heart personal. Emily is all about the drama lately, "her legs are very fast", "her brain is thinking something". She loves to blame her body parts for everything. She can't go to sleep because " her eyes won't listen and keep opening." She needs a snack because "her belly is yelling at her brain "im hungry".. " Today is the last game for Soccer. She will miss her friends but not the game so much. It interrupts playtime with her teammates. Cole loves her new school, very social. Did I mention social? Oct. 2007 will forever go down as the month of THE $89.00 WORTH OF TEXT MESSAGES NOT COVERED BY MY PLAN. Nicole has since been signed up for UNLIMITED texting as well as UNLIMITED yard work. Her and Christopher are happy to be in the same school, they look at it as they now have 2 sets of parents to get rides from. BIG NEWS: Kurtis got 100 on his driving test and got his license. He's trying to find a vehicle in his price range, maybe we will see him on PIMP MY RIDE. Hope everyone is doing well.. Now that I'm back to being at home all the time maybe I'll update more.. It could happen!

-

Tue, Sep 11, 2007 1:51 PM
We love our new house.. If you do not believe me I invite you to sit in my car and listen to a typical conversation as we pull in the driveway.. "I love YELLOW HOUSE. Our house is YELLOW. We don't live in the WHITE HOUSE, that is our old house. HI YELLOW HOUSE.. We missed you. We love YELLOW HOUSE.." We do love this house. August went by really fast. Here's a quick recap.. Nicole.. First day of 7th grade. New kid in school. Christopher had REALLY bad case of Mono and couldn't be there for the first day, but he's almost all better and has returned to school. They are in the same school & same grade but different classes. Cole likes school and has made a few friends. Emily... We signed her up for Soccer, she loves the first 25 minutes. After that it's a bit of a fight to complete the hour long game. New Pre-school started today, 3 days a week with speech 2x's a week. Marybeth is her new speech teacher, and if I wasn't already taken, I might propose to her. She's open to tracking Emily's progress, she doesn't think I'm crazy, and she will admit that sometimes she can't understand Emily either.. Skippy.. Ever see the show Man vs.Wild? This is how Aiden views EVERY day. He starts talking, moving, jumping and running the moment he wakes up. "Hi Mama.. Where's Dada? At work. Up. Apple Juice. I'm a BOY. Jump! Frog.. Ribbit.. Ribbit. EMWEEE(Emily)WHERE ARE YOU?" all this is BEFORE he gets out of bed. He is constantly in motion. His new speech teacher is Jessica. The poor girl. She's a tiny little thing and I'm afraid he's going to hurt her with his ENTHUSIASM. He has almost broken my nose twice and has brought Dan to his knees by throwing the ball at his "man parts".. He is a force of nature. The Black and Whites on the home page are the most recent pictures. A few weeks ago I forced them all to amuse me and just smile. My computer and my camera are having a lover's quarrel, and are refusing to communicate. I have about 50 pictures I can't get off the camera. Time for the Geek Squad to help. I'm off to the NASCAR races this weekend.. See you all soon! Ps.. I was able to upload a video of storytime with Emily. At the top of the page click VIDEO and it's the one labled.. Once upon a time..

-

Mon, Aug 6, 2007 9:56 PM
It's summer and we are crazy busy.
